I Ketut Dharma Putra Yoga (Yoga) is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background and extensive experience in various aspects of law. He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree, magna cum laude, from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lampung, where he excelled academically and was recognized as the Most Outstanding Student in 2017 and the Best Graduate in 2018. Yoga furthered his education by pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Shipping Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, as a Chevening Scholar. During his academic journey, he actively participated in extracurricular activities such as the Moot Court Society, English Debating Society, and Legal Clinic.
In terms of legal experience, Yoga has worked with prestigious law firms both in Indonesia and internationally. At Oentoeng Suria & Partners in Jakarta, he served as an Associate, handling complex disputes involving construction companies, private equity firms, automotive companies, and conglomerates. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience at Budidjaja International Lawyers, where he focused on shipping matters and corporate transactions. Additionally, he served as an Interpreter and Judges’ Assistant at the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia in London, where he assisted with high-profile meetings related to judicial cooperation.
Yoga has demonstrated strong leadership skills through his involvement in various organizations. He served as the Head of Legal at the Chevening Alumni Association Indonesia, where he managed internal legal counsels and advised the board. He also founded the International Moot Court Division at the University of Lampung, providing law students with opportunities to engage in international law competitions. Furthermore, he led projects at legal clinics aimed at educating law students on practical legal skills.
Yoga’s expertise extends beyond his legal practice, as evidenced by his contributions to legal publications and presentations at prestigious conferences. He has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the Chevening Scholarship, Rector Awards, and accolades from reputable organizations such as McKinsey & Company Indonesia and the Djarum Foundation.
